Reggie demonstrates and teaches the art of Tape Loom Weaving. Women would take these flat portable weaving boards to friends houses or work at home like we currently do our knitting. Tapes were nessessary before zippers for closing necklines, pants, aprons, storage bags, hat ties, skirt binding and so many more uses for a strong, narrow band of woven fabric.

Although tape looms are basically single harness, many patterns can be made with colored string and alternating threads.  So easy children can quickly learn. A yard of tape can be made within an hours. Balls of tape were would for later use.
